The Harrison Festival of the Arts, which takes place in July features international music, dance, theatre and visual arts. The World Championship Sand Sculpture Competition takes place in September - October offers individual and team carvers from around the world the chance to shape amazing castles, cottages, myths and fairy tales on the beach. 3 hrs ) take Highway #5 to Bellingham, #539 to Lynden, east to Sumas
border crossing and head east on the Trans Canada Highway #1.
