Welcome to the James Bay Tea Room & Restaurant. We are tucked behind the Provincial Parliament Buildings and a short walk from the Inner Harbour in a humble little white house with black trim and a black and white awning. Our hearty breakfasts, wonderful lunches, and daily Tea Service are available for your enjoyment throughout the day. On Saturday & Sunday you can also experience our High Tea Service. We also offer choices such as Crab Cakes Benedict or Bangers & Eggs and Steak & Kidney Pies made with 'Ale Gravy'. This turn of the century house was built in 1907, as a family home. Over the ensuing years it has been an integral part of the James Bay neighbourhood. It has housed a general store that sold bulk food items and the like. Then it was a café style diner and in mid-1983 it was transformed into the James Bay Tea Room & Restaurant. |
