In Stanley Park you can visit the Vancouver Aquarium with over 60,000 animals on view. At the Arctic Canada Gallery learn
about the chilly habitat of the beluga whale or visit the Graham Amazon
Gallery to discover giant fresh water fish, brilliant scarlet ibis
and free ranging sloths. Discover the Pacific Northwest as you watch
graceful dolphins and frolicking sea lions, and playful sea otters
or visit a living rainbow at the colourful Tropical Gallery with blacktip
reef sharks and stingrays.

Place, you can get a sensory blast at the CN
IMAX Theatre. With a 5-storey high screen and wraparound
IMAX Digital Sound, IMAX and IMAX 3D will place you right in the action.
You'll explore the four corners of the world as never before. For
a different but still spectacular 360 degree view take the ride in
the glass enclosed elevator to the viewing deck atop the 167 metre
(553 ft.) Harbour
Centre Tower. Many of the questions you have can be answered by
photo-fact plaques or the trained tour guides.
A great place to take the kids is Science World British
Columbia. Hands on exhibits will amaze you. Step inside a beaver
den, lose your shadow, see colour where there is only black and white
or step on sound. Experience OMNIMAX films on one of the worlds largest
domed screens and don't forget to check out the new 3-D laser theatre.

Centre - Home of the H.R. MacMillan Planetarium and Gordon M.
Southam Observatory.
In North Vancouver, an easy trip across the harbour,
there are a couple of great places to visit. Originally built in 1889
of hemp rope and cedar planks, Vancouver's first tourist attraction,
the Capilano Suspension Bridge stretches 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River.
Surrounded by majestic evergreens the gently swaying bridge looks
down on trout ponds in summer and white water kayakers in winter.
Not far away is the year round adventure of Grouse
Mountain. Take the Skyride to the top and take in the spectacular
view of the city, mountains and sea. In summer you can walk the hiking
trails or take in a Logger Sports Shows and in the winter you can
enjoy night and day skiing or a horse-drawn sleigh ride.

experiences. Located right in the heart of Vancouver's
Chinatown you will find the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Garden.
The first authentic classical Chinese garden built outside mainland
China it is representative of the Ming Dynasty and built by hand by
craftsmen brought from China and of materials imported mainly from
Suzhou, China's premier garden city.
At the University of
British Columbia you can visit Canada's oldest botanical garden
and a classical Japanese garden.
The
